eduQarte, the organisation providing solutions for the promotion of life skills and cross-curricular competences, best practices and support for educational partners.

About eduQarte │ passion for learning

The eduQarte association is a non-profit organisation whose aim is to promote cross-curricular key competences. These transversal key skills, or life skills, support lifelong learning in a world of learning and work characterised by rapid development and fundamental change.

Key competences are becoming increasingly important and support the acquisition of subject-specific skills and their practical application.

Skills for the learning and working environments of the future

In a dynamic working and learning environment within the information society, skills such as creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are becoming increasingly important. Working models and learning methods are undergoing significant changes. The ability to work in a team, collaborative learning and working, project-based work and communication skills are essential in new working and learning environments and must therefore be systematically integrated into the learning process and the school learning environment.

Life Skills and educational opportunities

Furthermore, so-called ‘soft/life skills’ and socio-emotional skills support equitable access to education and realistic educational opportunities for all learners, as they enable learners to develop and demonstrate skills and competencies – both outside of and in addition to subject-specific skills – that are becoming increasingly important and will set them apart in the learning and working environments of the future.

Cooperations

eduQarte works with a growing network of partners. In addition to educational institutions, the network primarily includes education authorities and academic partners. The latter support the promotion of key topics and provide an empirical basis through academic guidance and by conducting impact and quality evaluations.

The practical solutions and applications were developed in collaboration with SkillsLabor.
